Linda has been in the HR world for nearly 30 years. She joined the Sonitrol of Tallahassee team in 1988 as Controller; promoted to Vice President – Controller / HR in 1990, until 2008 when she became the Vice President of HR / Compliance. Linda is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Managers and the Big Bend Society of Human Resource Managers where she has served as a board member and treasurer and is currently serving as President for 2017. She currently serves on the Business Partner Advisory Council for Career Source Capital Region, and is a member of the HR-FL Council. Linda has also been active in the community volunteering with organizations including The United Way, The American Heart Association, The Salvation Army, The American Cancer Association and MDA. She has also served as a mentor to HR degree graduates, and has participated in job re-entry preparatory programs for incarcerated populations in the N. Florida area. She was three term President of the Tallahassee Chapter of NAWIC and is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Leadership Training.
